Beryimar Perozo Trejo “Ms. B”, MS, CAS, Santa Fe Counseling Owner/CEO
Ms. B founded Santa Fe Counseling, LLC in April of 2021. Santa Fe Counseling is a bi- cultural and bilingual agency providing Specific Offense Treatment, Domestic Violence Services and Substance Abuse Programs to adults in the Criminal Justice System in need of legal/court ordered support treatment and rehabilitation opportunities with a focus on community safety. Ms. B readily brought to Santa Fe Counseling a variety of experience in the co-occurring field including addiction group therapy, Individual counseling, family intervention and case management. Ms. B. is a Full Operating Level (FOL) Provider by the Domestic Violence Offender Management Board (DVOMB) and an Associate Level Approved Provider by the Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB). Additionally, Ms. B is a trained bilingual Medical Interpreter, an Addiction Counselor, a former Teacher (Elementary & High School) and a College Instructor. Ms. B’s most used therapeutic approach to counseling includes the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the Motivational Interviewing (MI) and the Moral Recognition Therapy (MRT) with a focus on helping clients understand, accept and create their own recovery pathway to life success. Ms. B was born and raised in Venezuela. She lived in Europe (Germany & Switzerland) for 10 years and has lived in the USA since 2007. Ms. B is a proud mother of two young adult men, she enjoys reading, riding her bike, and spending good quality time with her loved ones during her spare time.

Brandon has been a therapist since 2018 and became a licensed professional counselor in April of 2022. He holds a Master of Science Degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in sex therapy. Brandon is a full operating provider with the sex offender management board and is EMDR trained. He has 4 years of experience working with individuals convicted of sex offenses and has worked with probation, parole, and human services throughout the state of Colorado.
In his spare time he enjoys guitars, running, his pug Lord Plungey, and spending time with his wife, stepkids, and grandchildren. Brandon is co-owner of a private practice here in Colorado and is looking forward to working with Ms B and her clients again.

Nataly Trejo has been in the accounting world since 2015. She brings strengths to Santa Fe Counseling in the planification and organization areas. Nataly works well along as well as in teamwork. She is bilingual (Spanish and English). In her spare time, Nataly enjoys cooking, reading self-development books and spending good quality time with her family.

Charlene M Raby “Char” is a Certified Addiction Specialist (6273) with a Master’s in Criminal Justice and Administration. She has 25 plus years experience in the Substance Abuse Field. She is certified in DUI,SSIC, Relapse Prevention. She speaks English and French. Her approach to counseling includes Motivational interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She focuses on client’s needs and strengths.

My name is Jackie L Urioste, and I recently retired from my position at the State of Colorado Department of Human Services, Behavioral Health Administration. During my 25 years of experience in this department, I specialized in providing assistance and support to licensed substance use and mental health providers, focusing primarily on DUI/DWAI. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Criminology, which has helped me better understand the criminal justice system. Additionally, I am a Certified Addiction Technician (CAT), demonstrating my expertise in addiction treatment and recovery. In addition to my work in the Behavioral Health Administration, I have over 15 years of experience as a victim advocate in Jefferson County. In this role, I have assisted victims of crime in understanding the criminal justice system and their rights as victims. My extensive experience in this field has given me a unique perspective on the challenges that victims face, and I am passionate about helping them navigate these difficult times.

Thomas L Kurtz, LMFT, FATSA
Colorado Counseling & Consulting, Inc.I have owned a private practice for over 30 years and during my career have worked with many mental health conditions. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, so I have always worked with couples and families, but mostly work with individuals including adolescents and adults. I was also on a national critical response team for 20 years which responded to local and a few national crises to help people work through trauma and grief. For most of my career, and currently, I worked with people who have impulsive and compulsive sexual problems, including helping them when they were involved in court or DHS/DFS cases that involves prevention of committing more serious crimes. I am an elected Fellow Member of the national professional organization, ATSA, the Association for the Prevention and Treatment of Sexual Abuse. I am a fully credentialed and full-operating level provider with the Colorado Sex Offender Management Board (SOMB) for conducting treatment and evaluations for both juveniles and adults who have committed sexual offenses. I also provide training and supervision for therapists who are becoming credentialed as SOMB providers. I have also been a clinical at an adolescent residential treatment center for several years and currently, in addition to other therapists and treatment programs, I am the clinical supervisor for Santa Fe Counseling.
